What models does KeyZen support?
Currently, KeyZen is optimized for Claude models. We are actively rolling out support for OpenAI, Mistral, and other major LLM providers.
How is KeyZen different from directly using a provider key?
KeyZen acts as a proxy wrapper around your master LLM key. Instead of giving developers your root key, you give them a KeyZen key. This allows you to track exact spend per key, set budget limits, and revoke access instantly.
Will KeyZen add latency to my API calls?
Our proxy sits on the edge (Cloudflare/Vercel) adding less than 15ms of latency on average to your requests, which is often imperceptible.
Is my root API key secure?
Yes. Your root API key is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and is never exposed to the client or to developers using virtual keys.
